This app meets my needs by making it simple to automate rebooting my router. However, the developer was not transparent about the app's trial period. It was disconcerting to come home to a house where I couldn't turn on the lights because the service was "locked" without notice. It took me 10 to 15 minutes to understand what "locked" meant in relation to Tasker, which already requires at least a minimal level of programming knowledge. Very disappointing. Edited

Great when it works....which is sometimes. I really want to like this app. The developer has made a big effort and it has lots of great capabilities. When it works, it's awesome. Unfortunately, it often does not work. It may be that Google has just made it too hard to do this as Android OS has progressed. I use this app a lot but I have no expectation of success and have to constantly check. Steve Hogan wrote a review in 2021. Sadly my experience now in 2023 is very much similar to then.

Question: can you make a simple Apple watch app that displays join's notifications and also (the hardest part) when you dismiss it on the watch it is cleared from all devices? As far as I know, there is no way of sync an android device with an Apple watch, so if you can make it, you can profit from it. Thanks! --- Edit: Thanks for the answer. The Apple watch is not compatible with android. There are complicated ways to connect it but your app seems like an easier choice. Thanks anyway! Edited

Counter-Question: does an apple watch automatically mirror the phone's notifications? I don't have an apple watch to try myself :)
Edit: I meant to ask if the Apple Watch mirrors the iPhone's notifications, not Android's ;)

I would give a better rating if the chrome extension didn't constantly change names. I have renamed it numerous times because it keeps changing its own name. Until that is fixed, I can't reasonably give it 5 ⭐. The features are irrelevant if you don't know the current name of the device your sending it to. This is been doing this for a while, but I just hadn't updated my reading until now, because I hoped it would stop acting up. I'm tempted to just switch back to Pushbullet. It never did this.

I was looking for a cheaper better Pushbullet, and something that overcame the recent bugs in Google Messages using MMS over WIFI. What I found was essentially an enhanced KDE Connect, but still quite rough around the edges. I paid for it quickly based on the reputation of Tasker, but after a while had buyer's remorse. I haven't given up yet -- hoping that developers will straighten it out soon. THE (ALMOST) GOOD: Using your own Google Drive as the synchronization queue is quite a clever hack for devices beyond the local LAN, but has shortcomings. The app flows well, and is very familiar if you've used KDE Connect. There's a clever self-diagnostic. There's a lot of power in the advanced features ala Tasker. THE BAD: While remote SMS messaging works occasionally, it's is deficient for MMS -- it doesn't identify which party sent a message in a multiparty message, and MMS messages rarely send correctly via my S8. So you end up pulling out your phone anyways. It's also not fully functional when you detach it -- it loses track of what your "current" Chrome tab is to share the link. THE UGLY: The messaging scheme put in place to synchronize devices doesn't always work right. It hangs up synchronizing and sometimes won't synchronize or push commands at all. Asking for special firewall rules is a really terrible user experience, even for those who are so inclined. SUMMARY: At this point, it's okay for a free power app, but not polished or up to par for a pay app at that price. Edited
