Not what expected. You don't get the notifications you ask for and the notifications you do receive, you can click on it to try and finish reading the snippet they give you, but you can't actually see it unless you get the paid version. So, I got the paid one. Still couldn't see anything more than with the unpaid version. Did not get the notifications of the new moon. At all.

Love the accuracy of this app based on location and that it estimates the visibility of the night sky based on the weather. I also appreciate the additional information including moon rise and set, location in the sky, the times of the blue and golden hours each day, and the moon zodiac! MUCH simpler interface and less obtrusive ads than other popular moon apps. A minor negative thing is that I wish it were easier to navigate between dates. Edited

Nice interface, attractive and not busy, not too technical, I prefer it to other moon phase apps which are v complicated, I just wanted an app to show me the phases and dates. It also has notifications for moon phases that are built in and easy to enable! However, it lacks a calendar/monthly view, which is a big disappointment! If it had that, this would be my go-to moon phase reference.

This is probably my favorite moon app out there. It's fairly simple and easy to understand, and it gives you a lot when looking at upcoming days. The Golden hour/Blue hour thing is really helpful when it actually works, but again the app has neglected to show the hours. One thing I would add if I could is show where in the sky the moon would rise and set; which is something I only saw on one other app but the app sucked otherwise. Other than that, app does exactly what it says no problem. Edited

Started using it to see the types of moons I would have in location to see. It works with my craft and I love taking those lovely pictures at the golden and blue times. The notifications arent even annoying at all. It is nice though as nice as it is i was hoping for it to be a bit informative as well. Like letting me know information of the phases and the stories behind them (if any at all). Either way I find this app quite nice to have!
