I gambled on buying early, as it fills a need. The equipment seems to work fine, particularly with home assistant, but the app doesn't provide much value yet. You can see only very basic flow details, and the "smart" detections are completely inaccurate. There's no ability to track water over a specific time period, or really any useful way to consume the data. This is disappointing, as it renders the device pretty useless without HA . Hopefully features are added and I can improve my review. Edited

Very cool gadget! There are a few things I'm bummed about with the app, though. First, you can't retroactively tag usage events. The app will often miscategorize usage, and there's no way to correct it, which makes the usage data much less useful 🫤. Second, you can't go back and view detailed info on past usage. I like to drill down into my data and it would be great to be able to do that right in the app. On the upside, though, it integrates natively with Home Assistant, which is awesome! Edited

There didn't seem to be a ton of good independent video reviews of this product, but I took a chance because water leaks frighten me. Setup took a bit as the pipe I placed it on looked clean, but seemed to have some residue on it. I had to polish that pipe down to factory settings clean to get a successful reading. So far it works well, detecting a small fraction of a water stream from a sink almost instantly, perhaps a second later. Need widgets and better history control. Enjoy your day!

novelty that alerts you to potential water leaks but not really useful to track water usage in the house. maybe it will get better. several things say they are still in beta stage.
