my gt5 pro 90% does not recognise the app in phone is opened. it just says open the app in the phone. can't huawei make a standalone good map app for this watch?. back n forth to phone and watch.

Dear Customer, please make sure you have the latest version of Health app installed on your phone. Also make sure you disabled all battery optimalizations for Navigation Companion as well as you allowed for working app in the background. Doesn't work. GT5 stuck with "Waiting for Navigation Companion in the phone" forever. Asking for a refund. UPDATE: As you see, they wrote to contact them so they could "help me ASAP". So I did, but their ASAP response is just to look good on reviews. They never answered me. It's a SCAM. And I got no refund. So be advised, It's a SCAM Edited

The idea is good, but it's too laggy, I have a gt 5, and you can't navigate forward and back to see further. It just has a zoom in and out. You first need to open the app to use it on the watch. It's not usable, in my opinion.

Make sure you check smart watch type, this won't work with GT3 model, description said all series 3 models so wrongly assumed it would work on mine (GT3) developer clarified and helped to work out why wouldn't work, hopefully it will work in future as looks to be a useful app! Edited

No dark mode while navigating. I hope it gets added in future updates as it uses a lot of battery in the defaul setting. Edited

Dear Customer, you can enable dark mode in watch app: open Navigation Companion on the watch scroll, top to the Settings, tap on Color themes and choose Volcano Black.
