have added cams online as well as thru the app... the app is easiest hands down. cant sing praises of deflock enough. sucks that we have to take this into our own hands, but good to see people fighting against flock and similar companies

its very difficult to use this app. no instructions att all. if love you help but don't understand how to do this at all. does the app pick up police surveillance cams too? I know wr have them on poles and wires no thanks to our dealer low life neighbors but can't see them. lows I've noticed has flock cameras with solar panels on poles in our town. how do I report them? email to send with this info? not very technical savvy

We are working on improving documentation and producing a few video guides, but you can read the current version at https://deflock.me/app/docs. For clarification, the app doesn't "pick up" anything on its own; it's just a way to interact with data from OpenStreetMaps, the Wikipedia of maps. You'll need an account with them to submit new data.

I love the navigation. I hope it improves. getting the "destination is too close" spooked me a bit (not knowing how to get it to actually give navigation) Edited

Coming later this week! Edit: Now released in v2.0.0! It's somewhat beta still, but working for short trips in the basic case. Will be improving on that functionality rapidly in the coming weeks.

Inaccurate. There are 2 in my area that it does not show. 2 more that shows facing each other in the middle of the woods. the map takes for ever to load. if you have it on satellite, the road names disappear.

Yes, the map is incomplete and has inaccuracies! This app is a tool to help people like you improve the map data. The map loading speed has been fixed; a release is coming in the next few days to address that issue. Edit: map should load much faster now - both background tiles and node data.

Makes it super easy to see where flock cameras and gunshot detectors and other brands and types of surveillance infrastructure are, and to contribute new data to the OpenStreetMaps database (the Wikipedia of maps).
