Excellent journalism! I been a loyal subscriber of The Hindu Newspaper from so many years, and relied on it as a source of quality news. This time I tried their app subscription, which is equally good if not better than physical medium. Overall UI and UX is fine, although I suggest you guys should focus more on UI a bit more, to make it look eye candy. thanks for delivering such a good news reading experience singh

I want to be positive here, but I know this app can be so much better. Notification management is terrible, and the app messes up big time when opening news stories from notifications. Movement between pages is laggy, and the confused jumble of menus does not help. Add to that popup ads that are hard to ignore or dismiss and you have a typical app version of an Indian news website - loud and ad-filled. Do better. Edited

The read aloud feature should have an option of choosing an Indian voice. Otherwise, the pronunciation of places and names become difficult to understand unless I read them.

terrible continuous popup subscribe or login now which covers 3/4 of entire screen keep coming up every second ( which does not go away even if you keep pressing not now option) making user experience horrid. so you cannot read the story. news is same and common across all apps. so out of frustration deleting hindu app. toi, et, ht, dc, ie, ndtv are so much better easier to read.

it obstructs the reader to access full news by asking for an ad free subscription. I am seriously thinking of deleting it because it's worthless in its present form.
