I find it useful that it tells me whether the temperature is dangerous or not, which is basically what I am trying to figure out when my my kid has a fever!

Yes, we find it important to help parents get a sense of whether a fever is reaching the danger zone or not, as we find that it is really difficult for parents to determine on their own how interpret the temperature of their child's fever. Thank you for your feedback! :)
