there are things I like about the app; that it's 18+ the lack of censorship, the ability to grow. but the platform needs SO MUCH IMPROVEMENT. editing tools are non-existent, so I recorded with my phone and upload my edited versions. however, the footage uploaded looks entirely different than what I actually filmed. colors are muted, & the video turns out grainy. don't even get me started on the music selection. there's not a single recognizable song available.

so far I love it. It's a much better experience than trying to grow on Instagram and being stuck with unfair algorithms. I wasn't even being shown to American audience in Instagram (as an American myself). I'm already seeing my content reach larger audience and receiving more followers, likes, and I'm overall more confident that I can grow here. it can use some improvement on music selection but honestly I think either way it's still just a much better experience for me

I'm sure this app has seen an influx of people with tiktok on the fence. It really needs more updates. The likes on my videos do not match what's on my profile, and my notifications don't match up with activities on my videos. I'd like to spend more time on this app, but it makes it hard to feel like I'm growing as a creator if the app lags so far behind. It struggles to keep up with follower counts, how many likes videos receive, and engagement. Hopefully, they will send out an update soon. :)

Seems to be glitching a lot lately and showing the same video but frozen with different audio and I have to swipe continuously for it to reload which means that other videos are getting thumbs up or thumbs down that I didn't actually give it to. Other than that, it's definitely one of my favorite swiping video apps, but I'm going to take a star off until they fix this issue Edited

If you like to scroll, this isn't the app for you. The oops you've refreshed too many times message comes up. After a few days of this, they lock the screen and won't let you scroll anymore. I contacted them, and they said they do that to prevent bots and to "provide a better experience." The app is useless at this point for me.
