As others described, cropping and curled negatives are a difficult to manage - a 2nd pass in an editor to crop, color. Worst part is mobile - PC interface. Many times shots show on mobile, but desktop msg is "no photos available". I gave this a 50 strip test - just to glitchy to do more. I can almost live with low quality photos, but the time it takes to redo and keep track is a deal-buster for me.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Try to hold the negative 2 inches (5 cm) away from the computer screen in order not to have the image pixelated. The camera needs to see the side holes to crop properly. Please try again and let us know how it goes.

Way, way too many ads, pop-ups, distractions to even get a sense of what it's supposed to do. How hard would it be to give a week free trial or even 50 free tries so I can see what it even does? I fought my way around all the pop-ups etc. and never got anywhere with it. The few pictures I tried had the tops cut off. After fighting it for 30 minutes, I uninstalled it.

I'll give it two stars since it seems to work for other people but the interface, the demo, the tutorials, the icons, even the sample videos/pictures, are identical to some other apps here that don't work for me so I'm not shocked to find this one fails as well. Every time I try to open a negative I already have scanned, it just plays the tutorial yet again

Ok. Just tried the app. Horrible, glitchy and just not ideal to use at all. App locks up, the photo created from the negitives created from the "scan" is blurry at best. This is a great idea/concept but is too dependant on the users quality of camera on their phone-and an ability to hold their phone and negitives steady. Waste of time. Oh. And no options in the app to cancel your 3 day trial to avoid the $20plus dollar year fee!

This app is so amazing! We found some negatives from the early 40s in our house of relatives long gone & it's just incredible!! The only thing I don't like is that every time you execute an action (crop a pic & look at it, take a photo, etc), & return to the library, there are amazon links for backlights & phone stands that honestly feel intrusive. If I had the option to 'hide' them for any amount of time (12h, 24h, 1 day), it would be more bearable. Just an idea.

Thank you for the review and feedback. These are recommended accessories to be seen only on the top of the screen. You may close it or even not look at it. However, many users ask us what we recommend to keep the phone and negatives steady because we - including me - shiver 😉
