So far the only app I have found with Levantine Arabic. Good for some basic single word translations but others, like the word yes, have too many options making it complicated to select the correct one.

This app provides wonderful vocabulary, practice repeating and nice visuals for free . To get unlimited access is rather expensive, but worth it.

Developer seems to have erased my earlier review critical of this app for improper pronunciation of Levantine dialect (hint, it's still MSA), so my star rating has dropped even more. I'm sure you will probably just erase this one too. Edited

Hi, only Google, not developers, can delete reviews. As mentioned, Levantine Arabic is a sprachbund of MSA in the Levant. It is normal that you will find MSA within Levantine Arabic, simply because they share areal features resulting from geographical proximity and language contact. They are not separate languages, but overlap.

This is not spoken arabic and also "beginner" lessons with only one sentence is not much help.

Hi Nafeesa, the app is indeed focused on spoken Arabic, taught in audio lessons. It sounds like you only looked briefly at the Daily Lesson, and didn't venture into the levels, which contain hours of free content. The Daily Lesson is a free daily lesson for either beginner, intermediate or advanced learners and is 6-10 minutes of instruction.

I was trying to learn the Syrian dialect so I could speak with my family in Syria and this application helped a ton.
