I needed a QR scanner to set up an information page on a new dog tracker tag. I didn't realize I needed to download one. There was always one just "there" on my old phones. Anyhow, while this app did complete the task I needed to be done. It also completely changed my entire home screens & so far I haven't found anything, but I hope it also didn't change anything else too! It was really frustrating, I couldn't find anything.

BEWARE!!! This app is extremely invasive in your device. It will take control and change the way everything looks on your device. I wanted a barcode scanner not THIS!! Also, it wouldn't be easily uninstalled either. Had to force it to stop and then I was able to uninstall it. I dragged it to uninstall twice on the screen and then had to go in settings hit uninstall and STILL nothing happened. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!! Can't understand why anyone would create an app like this.

Bloated, too many pop-ups, and the UI is definitely not overly user friendly...required an install/update to add barcode reader, which was supposedly already in the installed version QR/barcode reader. Update didn't fix anything and seemed to just be a pipeline directly to ads. Never was able to successfully scan and identify the product to do comparison shopping online. It pulled in everything from car parts to food products but never got the right item, which was a "dog crate."

It scans away too fast, before the camera even has a chance to focus. This causes it to give random and incorrect results. If the app would literally wait like 500ms before scanning then it might be good, but in its current state it's functionally useless. I'm not sure how they could have missed this during testing, it's so obvious. (On a pixel 8 pro with one of the best smartphone cameras as well)

MALWARE alert! This app literally takes over your device and attempts to change the launcher (home screen), where it ALSO hides itself from your app tray. Even in a best case scenario, the only people that should even consider this app are the ones being used to scan tickets at the door. Even then, there are a ton of better options. Avoid at all costs.
