I liked it before, but you can't even load ads to get the free 30 seconds anymore. You HAVE to uninstall and reinstall just to get a single, free 30 seconds. At this point, I don't think the developers will ever fix the 30 second ad problem, my guess is they do it to push you towards their paid app. You may as well get any other free VHS app that actually works as intended, the principle feature in this app (click to get reward) is absolutely broken, rendering this app practically useless.

I liked the old free version better. I got it in April and there was no ads and a 15 or 20 second video every time you shoot a video. I have used the app frequently in skating and montage videos. Then I accidentally delete the app, get it back and now apparently you have to watch ads just to record a couple of seconds!? That's so stupid. What if you see something cool like the solar eclipse and want to record it, but you have to watch an ad and miss it. Edited

We've increased the recording time significantly now, so you can record much longer than with the previous version. If you stock up on tapes, you'll be able to shoot longer interrupted takes (longer than 15 seconds). Feel free to email or contact us on social media and we'll be happy to walk you through it!

It's not bad, I think the app tries a little too hard for the effect. But you can actually fool people it is possible. Vhs don't really have that white mess streak on the bottom never seen any real vhs does that. Maybe with out the white mess streak on the bottom it wouldn't be that bad. And with fuzz or blurriness with over saturation can give the look a promising effect. Yeah call me a vhs expert. Also vhs has SD, so it doesn't make sense when it's set to FHD. It doesn't make a realistic look. Edited

Cool concept, but you can't record over twenty seconds of film before it's deleted automatically and you're prompted to upgrade to the full version. No other features are available besides simple recording of >20 second clips. I would be inclined to purchase the full app if I were given a better 'trial,' but with this app, I'm just unimpressed and uninstalling.

We understand your frustration, and we're going to fix this in the next update. You'll no longer have that limit. We've just started doing a limited release of the update, and if it goes according to plan we'll do a full release very soon! Thanks for being patient! 😀👌

does give the expected camcorder look and the features are great. just dont like that you have to pay to access other features. I had this app a while back and then deleted it and just recently redownloaded it. dont remember needing to pay for extra recording time and features. oh well, everything cost money 🤷‍♀️
