Been flipping through these one by one. I've got a rather small amount of coding experience and skills rn. So I don't know if this will always be my favorite but so many other services of this nature are just not enough. At the same time I'm four in. So maybe I'll find another but between two completely broken ones, one I hate, and another that just feels like I'm drowning in features that wants me to pay.

I don't use the compiler or debugger, but as purely a generic code editor this app is great. Obviously I can't type as fast as I can with a proper keyboard, but it's not as cripplingly slow as I would have expected. It dynamically remembers your keywords as you type so you can write in any language without needing to configure it i.e. Java, GDScript, etc. Importantly, the ads are placed intelligently. They never pop up while working on a file, only when switching or navigating the taskbar.

It crashed while I was writing code, initially saving some of my work from the previous session, but immediately crashed again upon restarting, which erased everything I had written. It's therefore too unreliable to fulfill its purpose. The UI is nice; it's a shame I can't use it without the risk of losing work. Edit: The workaround of saving constantly makes it usable, but I'm annoyed I lost all that code. I will give it two stars until the stability is fixed. Edited

Most crash I noticed is that the file is too large which caused outofmemory error. Please edit smaller files instead, huge files are not supported.

Mostly great. It has incredible capability for many languages. I only have two complaints. One, sometimes when I'm typing the code, it adds new lines while I'm typing messing up my code, which is quite annoying. At first, I thought it might be my keyboard acting funny, but when I use it in a Word document, it works just fine. It's not as good as a pc IDE but still quite good for android. Edited

When one searches, after the first result, if the 'Next' arrow is selected, the results will be for the previous search term. When one initiates a new search, the keyboard goes away. One's files are in danger of being lost. After an application close and re-open, a previous version of your file may replace the most recent version. The tab names do not always reflect the files which are actually open. 'Undo' does not focus on the change. Lastly, this Google Play text field is cruel and unusual. Edited
