Been using this for a while, biggest complaints are WMA files not being playable which is not a huge deal. The other one is that organization of files and getting metadata for them is flaky. Sometimes I would get the incorrect information/album image and rarely it combines two albums of the same name different bands and it becomes confusing to keep track of...

Good music player, but incomplete for Windows users. Pulsar supports Windows playlists (WPL) and M3U. However, it can't read music in OneDrive. It also can't understand genres for songs with more than one. For Windows users, these have been features for years and are essential for syncing and enjoying music on both Windows and Android. Would also be nice if it had an option to only list artists that have albums, so, say, every Christmas compilation doesn't spawn 30 artists each with 1 song. Edited

This has been an excellent app and is appreciated. Don't change a thing! It's great! Thank you! One small question, and I think it's probably controlled by Google and not the app provider. When driving, I formerly was able to say to Google Assistant, 'Hey Google, play [song] by [artist] on Pulsar', and it would play. That was great and made for a safer driving experience. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to work. Now when I say that, Assistant always tries to play it on YouTube. Edited

Not sure why phones don't have set media players, I feel like that was pretty common forever with phones from the 2010s. Having looked into different options, a portion of them don't let you play music how you want to. They might force you to shuffle or don't organize music at all. This is a great app, I can choose what artist, album, make playlists etc. I personally have not had any issues with file types or anything and no interruptions from ads or anything. I'm grateful for this app.

This app has great features such as seamless playback, the ability to curate custom playlists, and a good equalizer. I am however giving this three stars instead of five because a bunch of albums got uploaded to my phone where the app said "unknown artist" even though my computer listed the respective artists (even under the files it lists the artist), and the tag editor function does not work (it doesn't change the name from unknown).
