Aside from Random Shut Offs during playback , This app is very much worth paying into. Albeit there are limitations to master uses , it catalogues well & allows editing of labeling. Synthesizer control varies to devices , but audio manipulation functions well. Samsung/Android user might have permission issues based on updates... Safe App as far as my experience tells me...

I've used multiple local media players, each one had their pros and cons, but I ended up with Pulsar because the others' cons outweighed the pros. Pulsar+ gives the best with a clean and simple UI with good navigation, easy editing, and good control. Appreciate the theme color edits, good equalizer, and a straightforward, comfortable media player app. Definitely worth the small purchase.

Sad the default opening view is of an ugly list and not the beautiful player. Why? 😭 Still no WMA support. I have a Pixel Fold and love the huge album covers! I just wish there was a way to HIDE THE MENU ITEMS THAT OVERLAY THE ALBUM COVERS because on a LOT of album covers they go right across someone's face... like right across their eyes. Not "gorgeous"! the more use this app the less I like it. I ger my music using iTunes. i have to convert them to mp3 which isn't a big deal. My biggest gripe is getting them to my Galaxy S24 from my PC and get Pulsar+ to play them. i just downloaded Dust my Blues by Fleetwood Mac, used file explorer to copy the mp3 to the folder on my phone and Pulsar doesn't show its there. i see it on my PC and can play it. It does not show on my phone.

Still can't get the exclude folder function to work. Sent them an email about a week ago now, I'm still waiting for a reply. update- it's been a couple years now and I don't use this app anymore. I have voice recordings but I don't want to hear when I'm listening to my music, the exclude folder feature no longer works. which renders this app useless for me as I no longer use it. Edited

If you exclude the voice recording folder, where can you still see them? In Pulsar all pages, the exclude feature should work, but I have no control out of the Pulsar app. You can still see the files under the excluded folder from other apps.
