TWO reasons why I HATE the latest version of the Ring app: 1) When commenting on a post in "Neighbors", when I tap to comment, the text box disappears, it's covered by the keypad. 2) The notification tone in this app SUCKS. What makes it worse, there's no option available that lets the user select a different notification tone. Ring needs to hire a competent app builder, whoever Ring is currently using, clearly doesn't know what they're doing. your app simply SUCKS! I've had Ring 10yrs Edited

This is absurd! I have been using the Ring Alarm Pro for almost two years and pay big money for an annual subscription, yet I just now found out that my doorbells, which I installed last month, cannot be configured to use Ring's own base station as a chime! I almost missed somebody at the door because my phone is set to vibrate! This has been requested for YEARS and is basic, obvious functionality. SHAME ON YOU! I may consider switching to a more unified service after I close on my new home! Edited

NGL, it sounds like a lot of these people are having difficulty with understanding how the ring device works, or how to properly work their apps. I've experienced none of these issues that seem to be common complaints, having correctly set up my camera with allowing it the proper space it needs to detect movement. I wonder if a lot of these issues are subscription related, "device modes" shouldn't be a premium service. Edited

On-going issue that hasn't been corrected for some time: the app's menu is not accessible. The menu on the top is stretched all the way up to the bezel, overlapping the phone's default pulldown notification section are (where the time, signal strength, battery status, etc. reside.) none of the default menus are clickable.

NO ☆... PROBLEMS SINCE DAY ONE OF INSTALLATION! Update! 13 July 2025, still having problems...require help from Ring. there way to hear voice or other noise when using the 'live'. no where is there a way to turn off . No alerts from ring to phone, since last update. I have uninstalled several times and re-installed. Same results every time. What is wrong with this app or is it my services. Need help!
