I wish I could give this garbage fire of an app zero stars. It simply does not work and cannot be relied upon to give directions while you're running. I have tried it on a Pixel 4a and 7 Pro and had the same problems. On clear days with unobstructed skies the app constantly tells me I am off route when I am not. It also consistently misses turns completely or tells me to turn when I am already 50-100 meters past the turn. Do not waste your time and sanity on this POFS app! Edited

When my screen times out and turns off the app no longer tracks distance or route. When I next look at my phone the app draws a straight line from where I was last time the phone screen was on. No, my phone does not go into Bedtime mode as I've seen in another response. Screen normally darkens so it doesn't drain battery. Used to be a great app. I had run over 1100 miles using RunGo. Now I'm looking for another app.

Hi, that should not happen. There have been changes how Android does location, and our app has been updated significantly to work with that. When the screen times out, or you lock the screen, you should still have smooth GPS tracking and all audio navigation. Please contact us at rungoapp.com/contact, and we'll be sure to figure this out with you.

Impossible to tell if you have downloaded a route. Had to turn off my data just to stop the app from bringing up every route around me. There also isn't any indication that you have downloaded it, nor another page that shows a list of your downloads. It took me forever to find the legs of a race thanks to the awkward search engine. Also there seems to be zero instructions on how to use any features of the app. Edited

If you go to search, it will show downloaded routes before you type anything

I consistently lose the voice guided directions. App just turns off while I'm running. The first mile is usually good, and then the app goes to sleep. I've tried to change all the settings, but it keeps happening. Also, I wish I could load this app onto my galaxy watch. Maybe that would help

Half the time, the routes don't even load. sometimes they load but indications won't play; both times forcing you to redraw the route as a new one (oh, you can only do it 4 times a month, so this "defect" might be intentional). I can't stand their "offcourse" notification anymore - if you are on the wrong sidewalk, or if their route data is not accurate, they will assume you went wild and stop giving you indications. Uninstalling after years of use.
