I'm giving this 2 stars because if you buy a package more credits in order to save money but don't use them they expire. This only benefits you when writing to someone while in basic training. I highly recommend using "WhatsApp" as its free to call, video calls and text. You can send pictures and small video clips and they retain the quality you originally send them. I video chat with my son in Japan and its its end-to-end encrypted all free. Edited

This app is absolutely broken. I keep trying to attach my photos, WHICH I PURCHASED, to my letter. I was able to do so in the past without an issue, now I suddenly purchase extra photos now I'm unable to attach them. Total ripoff. And the first letter I sent my husband was lost somewhere even though it said delivered, he received my second letter just fine. I paid 50+ bucks for this service and so far I'm not getting my money's worth. The "Need Help" button doesn't work either!

Nice service app but a little slow. not horribly slow but just enough to be annoying. Also, you can only attach one picture. That really sucks, pardon my tone, but really? One picture? ONE. COME ON SANDBOXX. Up your game and at least allow 2 or 3. deduct it from the word count or use it as an add on for an extra token. All in all it is a nice app for securely sending letters to servicemen

Hi, John. Thanks for your feedback. Many users download free collage apps to their phones. They select a collage, add multiple photos to that collage and then use that one collage photo as their photo in Sandboxx. Give it a try. It works well. The app is great! The only thing I would say is it would be great of the weekly summaries were actually updated and accurate as it relates to COVID-19. It seems like that's the way it used to be before COVID and it hasn't adjusted to how they actually do things now. Also, it would be nice if the news stories were a little more relevant. Overall great app though! Highly recommend.

Sent my first letter and it was awesome. Went to send the second and it kept timing out. After it finally went thru, it'd used 3 credits for the one letter :/ cant do anything about him getting the letter 3 times, but they made up my credits for me! Great customer service during a frustrating time for me. Also really love the notifications they send and being able to track our letters 💙 highly recommend! Edited
