I used to use this app all the time and paid a small fee for no ads. then I switched phones and find the version I used to use (and paid for!) is no longer available and that I have to pay an exorbitant amount WEEKLY to remove ads. The ads are full screen and non-stop, making the free version unusable.

Do not fall for this "free" app. I had it for over a year and used it for important notes, only to have it suddenly tell me my "free trial" was up,and I had to download and pay for the actual app. You lose all your notes unless you pay, and although it tells you you can download them into Google docs, it just compiles all your notes into a jumbled mess that's difficult to get to in the first place. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Hello, there are many improvements in the Pro app version, it is definitely worth upgrading. If you won't like it, you can uninstall it within 2 hours and you will automatically get refunded.

When I recently opened the app, I was faced with a pop-up that gave me the choice of either upgrade to the paid pro version, or close the app. That is it. I can't even copy my notes. You literally put my personal data behind a paywall, no warning. This is the most appalling decision, and I did not ever expect this from you. I've uninstalled all "Simple Mobile Tools" apps. You had a nice thing going, but you single-handedly ruined it with this one incomprehensible decision. What the heck. Edited

Hi, you can migrate your notes by exporting them into a .txt file from the Free version, then importing to the Pro one. Both export and import buttons are at the top menu.

The non-pro version of this app is no longer available, it is 14 days only. Previously I used it for years and it was a nice very-lightweight interface. But when the developer decided to stop the free version I had to accept the trial just to access my own data at all. Didn't feel OK about my info being blocked from me like this. Activated the trial so I could get to my data, moved my data, and uninstalled. Hopefully I don't get charged. :(

Worked great for years. Then suddenly it was a one week trial. Awful handling. In response to the developer, yes I will buy the upgrade. Not for 'features', but because I like the apps. I didn't know of an upgrade until my 'trial' ended. You are terrible at differentiating your pro versions vs. free one. When I download one paid for it's 50/50 I download the free version by mistake. Instead of alienating your users with this hard cut off, you should've added a pop up ad for the full version. Edited
