Edit: As of May 3rd, 2024, the app is no longer the unobtrusive service it once was and cannot be used offline in addition to now containing irritating ads. Will be uninstalling this app and looking to Github for open source software music players that lack ads. I recommend you do so as well. What a shame for an app that was once an amazing 5 stars. Of all the apps I've used to play my music, this WAS the best one, NOT ANYMORE. Edited

I've used this app for over a year when it used to just play music with no ads that use up the data on my plan. it does a pretty good job at playing a music collection though so if you have unlimited data and don't mind your usage data is being collected for whatever they decide to do with it, go for it. I switched to an offline music player.

I love this app. It's the ultimate middle finger to YouTube Music. I only get one ad as I open it and listen to uninterrupted music, no stopping every 10 minutes, no songs interrupted for ads. Yeah I'm looking at you YouTube. If your Internet is out, you can still use this to listen to all of your music on your phone. Good times. Edited

I would give it ZERO STARS if I could. I updated the app today, opened it after the update was complete: BOOM! Full screen ad! Completely blocked from my player until the ad gave me the (>) button and had to wait more for the (x) button. AND it interrupted my playlist with MORE ADS...AND had ads playing on my individual track screen. CLUTTER!!! AND if there's ads, then it's hooked up to the internet. NO THANK YOU! GOODBYE! NO MORE! DONE WITH YOU!

Every time my phone connects to Bluetooth this player starts playing the same song over and over. Even if I force stop it in Apps. It looks like it starts itself or some simple tools hidden program does. The App is now telling it needs file access permissions but Settings says the app is saying no permissions requested. Also, when it works, it won't play .m4a files. update: 4/1/2025 ...the app says it needs file access but in the settings it says no permissions required and is grayed out. 😞 Edited
