Nice app overall. I wish that I could sync folders automatically though. For example, my phone's download folder. I wish if I added the download folder to proton drive, that proton drive would automatically upload new downloads when they're downloaded. And delete them if I delete it locally. But how it is right now, it's still a great app and helped me transfer documents to other devices wirelessly as well as back up important documents. Thanks devs 😄

I enjoy using Proton's email service but this one is undercooked as it is right now. I have tried multiple ways of opening a document within Proton Drive and it just won't allow me to view/edit it at all. Opening it elsewhere, like in Google Drive or Dropbox, works fine, so I don't know what the issue is. Hopefully it gets addressed soon but I'm definitely dropping my subscription if I can't actually open/view/edit my files while away from my desktop. Edit: For the developer, it was a docx file Edited

Thank you for your feedback! Could you let us know which file type you've attempted this with? EDIT: Docx files are not yet previewable directly in the app. A possible workaround at this time is converting them to Docs (our proprietary format) on the Proton Drive web client first: proton.me/support/drive-import-export-docs

Got proton drive as part of the overall subscription. It's just un-intuitive, the mobile app works as expected although a little buggy and not obvious at face value. However the desktop version works like One Drive (which I hate and was literally looking for an alternative) all files are stored in file explorer despite them having an app that could easily display files like the mobile app. Honestly kinda pathetic.

The desktop app is designed to integrate with your OS for native file access. Nevertheless, we've passed your feedback along to the team, for future consideration. For assistance with any issues you've experienced while using the mobile app, contact us via the in-app 'Report a bug' option.

the mobile app is terrible. I have a folder with thousands of files and no only it takes forever to show the list, every time I try to preview a file it just says "nothing to preview" regardless of format (jpeg, PNG, pdf...). I previously had the same folder on Google Drive and had no issues with it. Edit 1: it was also not showing the latest uploaded files for that folder. Edit 2: Had to reinstall to fix it, hopefully it won't be a recurring issue, which would be unacceptable for its price. Edited

If you happen to experience the same behavior in future, please report it through the in-app 'Report a bug' option, so our team can further investigate.

Not very user friendly. I can't figure out how to navigate the app. I have that same problem with other drive apps. I thought Proton would be better. I have no idea how to set this thing up to sync my files to the cloud. The wizard disappeared in the beginning when I accidentally swiped down and now I can't figure out how to get the wizard back. There was a message box to exclude battery saving and I can't figure out how to get that message box back. Everything is super slow. Edited
