Much of the time, I open version 5 instead because 7 is so bloated with options I just don't have the time or desire to learn. My biggest gripes are: 1.) If you live in the city and want to declutter the display, you can use a slider and see the unwanted stars drop out, but the slider for DSO's simply doesn't work. They all stay clogging up the display and 2.) Tonight's Best list should show directions and elevations so you know not to bother with objects hidden by trees, terrain or clouds.

Riddled with flaws--has bugs that have been ignored for over 24 months. Mag limits are ignored and change when zooming. The blue shaded entries under "Tonight | Calendar", has the text cut off and cannot be viewed. Searching for "Luna" does not find the Earth's moon. How can an "astronomy" app not include the name of Earth's moon? Too many bugs (this was not a complete list--there are more) for such an expensive app. Edited

While this is a great app, I'm disappointed as an android user that AR or augmented reality is still missing from the app. It's hugely important for photography and composing images. Also the lens catalog seems to nut understand the FOV for fisheye lenses, however I did find a work around for this Overall, it's a great app for aligning the polar axis and locating objects in the night sky. I'd give 5 stars if the AR were present as it's not clear when you purchase based on your website

Love the data, but the app is buggy on Android at the moment. It keeps randomly putting me back in compass mode while I'm trying to browse the sky by hand, and it also keeps resetting my star magnitude limit randomly as well, causing the sky to suddenly become impossiblly overcrowded with names. I change the settings back but they will just randomly reset while I'm using the app!

The Observe / Scope Display function on this Android app does not seem to work at all on my NEC Lavie 8 inch tablet. It worked great on iOS system version but I wonder if this an Android bug? Of course I have explored all options in the menu including activating it when no telescope is connected. But it still does not work properly. Other than that, the app is a fantastic tool. But that one critical feature seems to be a major problem for me.
