Updated to the new release designed for gen2 valentine. Tried multiple Bluetooth configurations (LE dongle, A2DP) but no luck getting the app to auto reconnect to the gen2. Hoping for an update soon. I'm android, S20 +. Update. Uploaded latest release. App does 6 LE scans on Gen 2 shutdown. Will reconnect during this cycle. Once LE scans complete and app goes quiet there's no auto reconnect. Still get "unexpected shutdown when starting the app. Edited

I just uploaded a new release. I didn't see a crash from any Samsung Galaxy S20 but I did from other devices and hopefully it's the same issue you are running into. I did find a problem. I will keep an eye on crash logs until I know it's stable. There was a lot of changes in this release including a whole new library from Valentine.

George Mills is a legend in this space. To my knowledge, he works on this app and handles customer service all on his own. I bought the app over a year ago on both iOS (iPhone 12) and Android (Pixel 7 Pro) and I just haven't had crashes on either platform. I wish there was a way to share a threat database, or merge multiple database files, especially between both platforms. Recently I've been using it on the iOS 17 and Android 14 betas and still haven't run into issues on either platform.

After the previous update noted by George Mills, the auto reconnect is MUCH better, thank you!. It is now usually almost instantaneous. This one app was the only thing keeping my old iPhone active. I feel like I can now retire my iPhone (I really cant stand Apple). Edited

I love how this app manes my v1 so quiet mut the only problem i have is that it doesn't re connect and i have to do it manually every time.

Look in Bluetooth Settings in V1Driver. There are many ways it can trigger reconnecting. You can trigger on it seeing the Bluetooth LE Dongle (if that's the Bluetooth Dongle you have and you are on a late enough version of Android). You can also trigger re-connecting when your phone pairs to your car (That is called Scan on A2DP).
