Great return of some classics! I played all three of these games constantly on my Gameboy growing up. Teaches younger players to think critically about building your party, equipment, and what skills to use or save for critical moments. Saga 2 actually taught me how to speed read in seventh grade with the ability to control the speed of the text. They are dated, weird, and clunky from an age when developers were constantly experimenting with design and fitting as much data as they could.

These games are very dated, so the package isn't for everyone, but if you like unconventional design then this is for you. FFL has bizarre, but engaging, party mechanics that allows for a good deal of experimentation. FFL2 irons out many of the issues FFL had while expanding the scope of the adventure, it's a classic that any RPG enthusiast should at least attempt once. FFL3 is a bit of a mixed bag in that it bucks the odd design choices, but has a cool Lovecraftian theme that I can appreciate.

Had all these games growing up. It's great to play them with the game speed fast, makes level grinding easy. Definitely cool to play on the go. I like the decorative screen borders, just missing an option to palette swap like you could do on the Game Boy Color.

Fun games but the app is pretty bad on my phone. If I tab out of the app it always force closes it, making me restart the app again. This makes things like looking up a question on the game, or referring to a map an incredible annoyance.

I love it. Just like the gameboy versions with a few texts that have been edited a bit. With fast speed you can now farm gold, exp and stats faster!
