Video bug appears fixed so adjusting my rating. 1 star off because I feel like the notifications could be improved. I'm on a Google pixel and when I unlock my phone, I'm blasted with dozens of notifications. Most are old and no longer relevant. i.e. I only need the most recent "dog is noisy" not 20 separate notifications. I can look in the log for all the past ones. Edited

it's a great app, I have the premium version. the piece of mind is well worth the money. however, there are a few big bugs. you can't swipe away from the monitoring app on the "person station" without having to restart monitoring. occasionally, this disrupts monitoring completely and there's no way to get it back unless you go to the "dog station" which is not possible to do from outside of the house. this unreliability is very stressful and makes me want to look for a new service.

It works fine for ~1-2 hours, then disconnects, and the activity logs disappear when this happens so I can't review and see if anything happened externally. I'm already at work by the time this happens so there's no way to fix it unless I go all the way home (30 mins away). Unfortunately Barkio has become almost entirely untrustworthy due to this. It's never been 100% perfect, but it used to be reliable at least. Very disappointed. Edited

This app is great. It has many features and was helpful when I adopted two puppies in February. I loved the trial version enough to subscribe and found the subscription to be very affordable for what you get. However, I needed something with night vision and the old cellphone I was using didn't have that capability so I had to break down and purchase a webcam. Previously I would turn my home lights on remotely, but it was becoming a hassle. Sometimes I just don't have those extra seconds. Edited

It's okay. I think there are better apps. I wish I could set what frequencies it picks up. It constantly tells me my dog is being noisy when it's just the jingle of his collar. Lowering the sensitivity then doesn't pick up his barking. Which makes the notifications just really annoying and constant. The 'just hearing sound' mode is cool but immediately turns off when my screen turns off or I open another app. It needs to stay active, that's the whole point. Might as well stare at the video.
