great app, good quality although there is a delay with everything. still very happy and impressed. even after the "developers" response, I think the app could use some touch up. Still a great app. lower the price to 2.99 and then when you fix the bugs charge what you are charging. 5.99 for Android users Edited

I wish this app had two things: (1) a method to custom set what level of noise you want notifications for and (2) a way to save the record of sound. It was a great fit when I monitored my foster in his crate, but to monitor him left out the crate the app either lists the background noise as him being noisy or, if I tell it to put the volume down a notch, it doesn't mark medium level noises. Hi Caroline, thank you for your feedback. Thank you for your suggestions, we appreciate it. At the moment it's possible to set the microphone sensitivity. The noises are recorded and stored in the Activity log.The Activity log is stored at the Person Station, you can access it by tapping on the last noise “time” ago or in the Person Station's Menu.

This is a great app. After some research i found this to be the best app out there. I had an old ipad that i didn't use for years. Now i can use it as a station to monitor my cat ( not sure why it meant to be for dogs only). And the beauty is that I monitor my pet from an android phone. so no issue with communicating with different platforms. I give it 4 starts becuase i wish it has the follwoing: 1- I can monitor by video and listen same time. 2- app to save video / shot when pet is noisy

Dog monitor does a good job of handling dog monitoring. The default camera zoom on the phone side is a bit too tight. I'd rather zoom in than start with a format that fills the width or height of the screen I'm on. Since I have an extra tall screen, the aspect ratio is quite off compared to the video at home. This is adjustable in the settings, as noted by TappyTaps in the the reply to this review. There's still lots of possibilities for added functionality: - Video analysis to indicate activity - Dog station side activity logging, that can be seen on the person station even if monitoring is stopped for a period - Automatic storage of video in noisy/active periods on the dog station, with settings for quality and max storage used Still it's a very good app that does what it says. Excellent app with ni extra costs on it. Easy to use with good tutorials in-app to get the most out of it. In my dog's case did help to stop the loud crying thst was disturbing the neighbors. But, i did notice suddent disconnections during my whole work shift being away having battery optimization disabled for the app. I hope this issues can be fixed. Or at least notify when the the app loses it. (A full bug report has been sent explaining all with details to support team) Great job, recommend!
