This may be the most frustrating customer service from an app I've ever dealt with. After freezing my account because of "licensing problems" a month ago. I've sent them every license I obtain and I need to operate my business in NYS. Yet they still haven't reinstated my account and instead keep sending me vague emails about needing to send licenses that don't exist. This app is meant for contractors who deal with customer service every day... you'd think they would have some of their own.

Waisted another $10 on this horrible service, they only allow you to turn off leads for 1 month maximum and most of the leads will never message you back. If you forget to turn the leads back off when they automatically turn on, then you will get like 3 leads that all require your immediate attention and priority service or you don't get the booking and lose the lead fee, which they charge for every referral, not every booking like every other leads service out there.

I was ripped off by this app more than once. I asked for a refund when they charged me twice (almost $40 altogether) for a "lead" and the would-be customer ghosted me. We never even had a conversation! Thumbtack told me that they "credited my Thumbtack account" but never did, then kept the money when I closed the account altogether because it's a total ripoff. I'm going to pay less for 6 months for a website than a month of Thumbtack. 👎🏼

Great app! Except ... I've been on Thumbtack for years and years, so obviously I like it. But I wish I could show I'm in person locally but available by Zoom anywhere else. I have to choose between (a) paying for gobs of useless leads because people see me and think I'm local, or (b) ONLY getting local leads. There's no combo. I can't have 2 accounts, one for each. Oh well. Edit: I switched from 5 stars to 4. I was directed to the same useless article. No one actually reads my question. Edited

replying to customers is very glitchy. cannot view my entire message as it won't let me scroll down entirely. no copy/paste functionality. adding a picture to a message I'm composing after I've modified my "quick reply" deletes any modifications I've made to the message. back button on Android interface just deletes the message when it should hide the keyboard on the first press. c'mon developers...
