I love this player. It is simple enough to navigate while you're driving and fully featured enough to not leave me wanting more features. It doesn't ask me if I want a paid subscription every time I open it up. I love the bookmark feature. If you hear something you want to share with someone you can bookmark it. No matter where it is in the episode you can get to it immediately just by going to the bookmark. Great job Tomo!

Convenient and free but slow as all get out. It takes FOREVER to download items. And they fail 50% of the time. I think they problem is that they don't have a download queue that makes the items wait until the first one in the queue is done downloading, so instead, if you want to download 5 items then they all download simultaneously, so 5 hours later you have 5 half episodes and then suddenly you have 5 failed downloads. It would work so much better with a queue. Plus, no streaming option???

I have been very happy with Playapod for a long time, but it drives me crazy that you haven't added manual sort to the "new" or "downloads" playlists, it bums me out to have to have to take my phone out after every podcast, to hear the one I want next. I wouldn't think that would be a stretch to add, you think? I will keep checking for updates.

I'm kind of new to the podcast world. So I began searching for a platform where I can listen and came across Playapod. Never heard of it before, decided to try it out for a few days. PROS: NO ads! Cross platform synching, user friendly, create playlists & save fave episodes. Adding & unsubscribing is easy! I was able to search & find all my fave podcasts. For older episodes adjust the number (25, 50, 100, etc) in the settings menu. Love it ♥️ Edited

this has been one of the greatest apps I've found for podcast listening. it lets you add pretty much any podcast from any source, and even lets you add files locally from a given folder if you do get them from an external place. Edited
