I used to buy the print version of this mag, and downloaded the app to get the digital version. Everything I read on the way here said "30 days free trial" but, when I got to the subscribe page, it's only 14 days. I don't really care how long it is, but I don't like the bait and switch tactic. Since the existing review here aren't all that stellar, I think I'll put this off for awhile.

I would've given 5 * as I very much like sceptical publications, but there's no pictures or photos on the mobile version, which in itself wouldn't be as big of an issue if they wasn't charging a subscription. I expect closer to perfect if I'm paying cash for something.

If you want to subscribe forever then you may not have a problem. However I had to change my email address. Although it will allow me access subscription magazine if put old address signing in, it refuses option of cancelling on the site/app'. Apparently I have to do that via Google. Unfortunately as aforementioned my Google account has a different email. Skeptic doesn't allow backup email address so I'm stuck paying for this magazine that's not a shadow of original...forever? This app will not work without internet connection. In airplane mode, I cannot access my library to view my purchased material. I can open something to read from my library with internet, but if I close the app, I cannot re-open it.

If you are even considering this app, then you should go for it. Subscribed to the printed version for years, switching over to the digital version recently. Enjoy.
