I used Trivago to find the best deal. I got a room for $165/night. I declined to pay the additional $10 in case I wanted to cancel my reservation because I had no intention of cancelling. However, that was until I went to the hotel's website to look at photos of the property immediately after making the reservation. When I got there, they had the same room for $108/night! I called the hotel to see if the rate could be adjusted and that I didn't want to cancel. Unfortunately I can't.

DON'T USE THIS APP!!!!! I used it to book a hotel for my vacation. I was so excited until I got to my hotel, and found that the reservation had been canceled by the agency I booked it through on Trivago. Trivago would do nothing, neither would the company I booked through. Needless to say, I spent the first 2 hours of my vacation calling Europe (I'm in the U.S.A) trying to get it sorted out. I did find another hotel (on my own) at double the price. I didn't get my money back.

This is just an average run of the mill travel site with less tools than most. The last 5 hotels I tried to book I was able to find a better deal elsewhere. There will never be a one size fits all travel site that can function. For example before booking hotel XYZ always check XYZ customer website for deals. My worst experience was I booked a place that was a great deal. I booked my airfare. Found out the technology they use doesn't prevent overbooking. It happened to me AS I was flying there. Edited

Love your app. I depend on it totally for all my travel and recommend it to everyone I know. you are a lifesaver. you have saved us so much money and made it where we could really compare rates together. Awesome! Took a trip to France, Spain and Greece. You app made it possible to walk to almost everything atleast the metro. As a senior on social security travel would have have been limited to expense plans but with your app and hostels travel is affordable. Edited

It's honestly one of the best travel sites to use since you can compare practically everything that's out there. It even allowed me to find out about websites that I didn't know, existed that it's gonna save me huge on a couple of little things.There's a little trips around ontario this summer :-)
