The app provides inconsistent data sync during sleep tracking. Sometimes it records full HR, HRV and SpO2 during the entire sleep, sometimes it records the first half or less and then stops recording data from the watch. The last couple of nights it recorded literally nothing. I've already disabled battery optimisation, disabled pause app when not used etc, but things didn't change. Update: I checked all system settings and ensured that app has no restrictions or battery optimization. No change. Edited

Hello, is BT also not optimized? We do not have any issues with Tizen platform reported right now. Could you please use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug? Also, check, if you have all apps updated - according to Play Store, you seem to be using this addon version from 2022.

The app destroys my Garmins battery. My watch has recently only been lasting a day on my Fenix 5x.. It used to last a week or so. This issue needs to be resolved. Otherwise, I enjoy the data collection / sleep tracking capabilities. Edit: I've updated my rating to one star, as I can't deal with the battery drain anymore. From half battery to less than 10% in one night of sleep. This battery issue has to be resolved before I can recommend this app to anybody. Edited

I have been a MASSIVE fan of the base app for roughly 15 years now. I recently upgraded from my Samsung Watch 6 to a Garmin fenix 7x. Samsung watch is absolutely rock solid performance. This Garmin add on (and associated ConnectIQ watch app) do not provide any functionality. Phone app continues on in sonar/microphone tracking however the watch app locks up all functionality until the watch is rebooted. I do not want to discard all of my sleep data, but this may be a deal breaker for me.

Hello Drew, this addon is no longer needed, you only need the main Sleep as Android + Watch starter on the phone and the companion app from the Connect Store. The functionality of this addon had to be implemented directly in the main app to prevent issues with battery optimizations on newer Android versions. More details at [email protected]

It feels so unpolished, like a beta version even though it was released in 2017! My watch used up 30% battery compared to 10% without it, which is at least bad! My Android Wear watch was using much less battery! And the worst is that the data is all wrong! There is a recurring pattern of no sleep data (red) and in-between light sleep; for sure not valid data. I will disable the add-on until at least the data issue is fixed. The developer can certainly ask for any information I can provide. Edited

The Sleep as Android app is amazing, but the Garmin integration is not. Very manual (have to launch it from your watch every single night), kills the battery and honestly you're better off just using your phone, which is unfortunate if you sleep wearing your watch. I'm sticking to Sleep as Android on my phone hence the low rating for this specific app.
