I've been using Sleep as Android for over a decade now. No other alarm app comes close. As a heavy sleeper, the CAPTCHA options to turn off an alarm are invaluable. Mine is set up so I have to scan an NFC tag in my bathroom before I can dismiss an alarm, forcing me to get out of bed. Otherwise I can dismiss an alarm and never even remember. Love this app! Edited

Been using this app for 9 years now. Works great with lots of features! I don't use sleep tracking anymore since I have a Garmin, but I like that it's an option. Best feature is adding friction (find the awake sheep, or solve math problems) before the alarm turns off. Prevents oversleeping!

Tried to choose custom sound, and it showed me a list of all mp3s, including my audiobooks. My nice default Samsung sounds were mixed together with those, making them hard to find. Search for the term Samsung to find them. It should be easier to see built-in ringtones. Simple alarms I tried all did this. Otherwise, good app. Edited

Hello, if you tap the folder icon in the top right corner, you can open the file browser and find the file you are looking for. The app asks the system to list every sound file. Maybe Samsung has the ringtones in an inaccessible folder, or did not index them as sound files. For more details, please contact

Thank you for responding to my last review, I had battery optimizations off but an update must have turned it back on. Tracking is working fine again. Great app, so very many options, and I've started needing the captchas. I sleep so heavy once in a while, I don't remember turning off SEVERAL alarms. I need to wake up for my kid, for work, etc. So this feature has become imperative in my life. Kudos to these devs. Not 1 app can I say I've had the same customer service. Keep being awesome 👍 Edited

Hello Jamie, if the tracking stops during the night, the app is probably killed by one of Samsung's "optimizations". Please, visit https://dontkillmyapp.com/ guide and disable these optimizations for the Sleep app. The DND usually does not apply to alarms, only calls and notifications. Could you please contact

This app works as intended. The only reason for the negative review is the intrusive full-screen unskippable ads that occur often after an alarm ends. It's not every time, but it is very annoying when it does. Paying $60 for lifetime, or $25 A YEAR, just to "remove ads" is absolutely crazy. I know, I know, you get "more features" and all with the paid version, but let's be honest it's just to remove ads.

Hello Jerry, the full version unlocks unlimited sleep tracking. Sleep tracking requires the most maintenance, we need to make sure it works on all Android versions, even when Google changes the OS. We do not sell users data, so ads and full version are the only source we have to support our work we put into this app daily. Thanks for understanding.
