The app allows me to get a lot more out of my compatible VOX amplifier. You must have a compatible amp to use the app. You can install the app and check the list of supported amps if interested. I have the VOX Adio Air BS amp, which is a small portable, battery/wart version with stereo speakers for nice effects. It's nice for practice and maybe busking They do have 20, 30 and even 40 watt versions though. I really like being able to store and recall batches of setups! It's handy! Edited

Would be nice to hear from VOX again. The app needs serious updates and definitely more support from the brand. I find really frustrating have to use my laptop every time I want to use some of the presents I have on .vtxprog format because there is no way to trace correctly the root through the android app. A simple file explorer would do. The app is not fluent at all, the efforts to make it look cool with all this wood effects made it just not nice, and the resolution of texts is not correct. Seems like somebody did a quick conversion to android from pc/mac and didn't pay attention to the usability of the app. I use a VT40X. Is not a gig amp, is something that the most of us use at home, and change between different modes with a well brewed app would be much easier than have to use a laptop and a mouse. I was expecting more attention from VOX, even on cheap modeling amplifiers... That's a shame. Edited

Not bad, could be a bit more "new user" friendly... really wish there were an update though. On my tablet it doesn't fill the screen so there's a big bar of wasted black space on the right side. 10" screen would be much more useful if the app scaled properly and made use of the extra space. Edited

Poor connectivity, poor user interface. I have an Adio Air GT and it connects up Ok via Bluetooth, but everytime i use the app it has lost the connection so I have to put the amp back into pairing mode and then reconnect. Really annoying to have to do this every time I want to use the app. The second problem is the user interface which is absolutely horrible, the buttons and dials are tiny I often end up having to force close it as a way of resetting because its so confusing to use.

So the main issue most people seem to be having is connectivity. Hint of advice the VT20 and VT40 do not have bluetooth connectability on them so you have to use a cable. When buying the cable make sure it is a two way data cable not a charging cable. They are like 4 bucks on Amazon. Having got set up with the app I'm really happy with the tones it generates and some of the existing presets are pretty cool but needs updated. 3 stars for now but has awesome potential!
