Transfer not working! I've used WeTransfer for a few upload now and recently subscribed to be able to send more videos a month for work. All is great when the app actually works. Annoyingly the app doesn't transfer files any more it just says "That's odd Looks like your transfer didn't work, but we're not quite sure why." My app is updated, I uninstalled and reinstalled and same issue, on good WiFi. The web version works fine but what's the point of having the app if it doesn't work.

I just received an email from Google today, 02-26-2025 stating the monthly subscription fee for the WeTransfer app. was increasing from $14.99 per month all the way up to $22.00 per month on 03-28-2025. I refuse to pay that much of an increase for an app. I do not use that often so i canceled my subscription. I will keep the app. on my phone and use it for free for videos, etc. up to 2GB in size. The app. itself works just fine.

I have been using We Transfer for over half a decade. I have sent quite a few audition files to casting directors around the country and have never had a problem getting them to the right people. I have not had one receiver tell me there were glitches or any audio or video problems. They have far exceeded my expectations for an app that is free. Well done...

I've paid for premium and uploads no longer work. Every transfer gets stuck, no exception. Files are fine, browser is recommended and updated, Internet speeds checked - fast. Everything works except wetransfer. Useless waste of money, avoid. Day after day, try after try, device after device, network after network, all fail to make this useless rubbish work. It used to be a good service, it no longer works at all. AI bot email is the only support option. No phone, live chat or even human. AVOID Edited

WT just tried adding in a clause to their Ts&Cs (6.3) that would give them licence to do whatever they want with content transferred through them. Reproducing it, commercialising it, train Ai on your work. It's been dropped for now but it's completely gutted my trust for this company. I'd definitely recommend finding alternatives for transferring files.
