Useful app, but a few things could fixed or improved. 1. map view is lagging with pins turned on. pins are on by default w/no way to change the setting. 2. the app crashes if i activate it twice from the background. 3. auto zooming doesn't work most of the time when i open the map view. 4. in the stage list view there's no way to automatically find my current location via geolocation (like in Buen Camino app)

So this is the second camino I use wise pilgrims on. My experience on the Portuguese 4 years ago was excellent. I'm now on the 2nd year on the norte and I wish they would go through the comments and integrate changes and updates. Eg, a bunch of places (Celorios, Villahormes etc) don't show that there are Albergues now - meaning I often didn't click on the place when planning my stages. Generally, the app is great. I love the alternate routes, saved a lot of asphalt and got spectacular views Edited

Thank you for leaving a review. I wanted to add that to be considered an Albergue the facility must offer some form of shared accommodation, otherwise it is just a Pension with the word Albergue added as bait. AFAIK there are none in Celorio. The albergue in Villahormes likewise proved unreliable as an option as they are not always open.

very outdated information. missing many albergues that are open while including ones that are closed. wouldn't recommend purchasing this app. google maps does a far better job

I haven't even started the walk, but I see that the "Reserve a bed" button does nothing. Even if I do not use it very often, it is a function that I consider necessary.

I am publishing an update today which may fix the issue, as it raises the target sdk for android versions, however as I have been unable to reproduce the bug on any of my test devices I am not certain. If you need more help or can give me any more insight on how to reproduce it I would be happy to fix it.
