App relies on an Open Source Internet radio database, and the app used to be free, but the developers recently added ads and have made the app unusable. Forced to watch an ad after every click, can't close them, can't skip them, and most of the time, when the ad finishes, all you can do is close the entire app. Oh, and check their response - yea, the ads go away - IF YOU PAY $14/week! Go get the old version from the original developer, google old version open radio. It still works fine. Edited

Look, asking for $ after offering your excellent app for years is understandable. But your price is outrageous! Ridiculous! Make it reasonable and I would pay. Why did it take me so long to find it?! Thank you so very much for your time and effort developer. Just an app which can favorite your worldwide radio stations. One touch, no ads. I am still flummoxed that it exists. So simple and it works! Edited

Finally! The perfect radio player. No strings attached and works wherever I go. Home, in the car out hiking. Just plain awesome! But! The UI and settings menus looks dated. Can't argue with free, but some polish in this regard would be greatly appreciated! Finally, it's really impressive how the app works in my car. The caching and network connectivity is great and makes sure there's hardly any network and bandwidth related interruptions. Edited

Just discovered this app. Was looking for an app for my chromecast that simply let's you listen to any streaming radio station. Works perfect. Thank you. I believe the August 2023 update removed the radio station's listing of current title of the music streaming when google tv is in ambient mode. Was working fine until a couple of days ago. Other than that, it is still a great app. And just like that you fixed the titles. You are fantastic Yurii! Edited

I love this no frills, no ads, basic radio app. It has exactly what I want for my Android phone. It starts playing the last radio station played within two seconds of opening the app. The UI is simple and easy to use. I was able to quickly copy and paste urls which I saved on a text file. When I close the application window the music continues to play. Open radio works flawlessly in Android auto, too. I can switch radio stations dozens of times without delays or system crashes. Way to go!
