Excellent! See what you're eating! Greatly exceeds my expectations. Simple to use. Scan the bar code of any food item - it quickly provides a score with a breakdown of the good and bad. I quickly scanned most of the things in my pantry used regularly and immediately identified 3 or 4 things to eliminate/reduce/replace in my diet. Some scores are obvious - butter is bad with high fat, calories. But, my "healthy" non-butter spread was much worse! It suggests healthier alternatives. Great app!

It's a great app! Free version. The work behind the scenes saves me the time from having to do the research. There's a breakdown of ingredients and explain the risk factors. They provide healthier alternatives as well. No ads, a plus! I look forward to seeing more products added. For a small yearly subscription, there's more. Thank you, Yuka Team! Edited

Overall all great app and very eye-opening the chemicals in our foods. One thing I would suggest is the ability to see what grocery stores carry the products listed under the (alternative) Recommendations, or even a filter where I can select only recommendations that are available at a particular grocery store. That would be very helpful as I don't know if my store carries all the ones that are listed.

I've been using this for over a year now. It has worked flawlessly, never had a glitch. The information is broad and only rarely have I scanned something that it did not recognize. You then have the option of adding it for review. My two favorite things are that it gives very in-depth details to explain the ratings (especially if they're bad), and it doesn't stop there...it actually provider healthier alternatives! That is wonderful!

I have only one complaint that I will start with and that's that it doesn't flag folic acid as a harmful ingredient. I would like a filter even if it's just on the paid version to filter out folic acid in favor of folates. 5 starr if you guys add that feature. The up side though is that it makes my diet so much easier! it's super handy and the library of foods is pretty astonishing really. It takes so much of the heavy lifting off my trying to figure out how processed foods are.

Thanks so much for your feedback Mike! Indeed as the app is not currently designed to rate vitamins, unless they have another purpose as a food additive. We will look into if this could be possible in a future version of the app! Happy scanning! 🥕
