The compass works really well, and I really like how it overlays Google Maps with the compass. However, this app is not usable because it pops up full screen ads on your phone even when you do not have the compass app open. Just as one of the other reviewers here said, I had an ad pop up while I was using Google Maps to drive somewhere, so I had no directions until I was at a safe point to hit the back button to clear the ad. I can understand having ads in the app itself, but ads should not be popping up in other apps also.

Gr8 to use for indoor "gardening." You can easily see the best area to place certain plants 🪴 where they will get the best light. It's fast and easy without having another gadget to keep around.

Every other app on my phone increases the screen brightness when outside. This thing dims the screen so it's unreadable. It's not good when I only use it outside.

We apologize for the inconvenience. This app does not have a screen dimming feature. Some camera automatically adjusts the brightness. Please try disabling the camera option in Settings.

I can't recommend this app anymore. I was using for several years, but at some point they added intrusive ads when you start up the app that took up the entire screen and couldn't be skipped. Get out of here with that nonsense. I switched to another compass app developer that doesn't do that.

I gave four stars to this app., because it lacks the improvements to make it more accurate. I used my other compass to reach a point of accuracy. I find it's off of some what miner and are correctable only if you know what your doing. It's still fine it a good app. but is not good for those who don't know what they are doing. My suggestion is to add more reading how to operate this compass. I Thank you.........
