I am also a victim of Samsung galaxy deciding to change my entire phone overnight. I hate it now. I installed this as a result of my phone dying at very inconvenient places due to no longer being able to see my battery percentage. I love it. Simple. Made it the perfect size and put it in a great spot. I wish I could put my phone back the way it was without having to get a new phone. NEVER getting a Samsung phone again. I had preferences for a reason. They change everything to what they want

Because Samsung just made my battery icon unreadable to me without putting on my glasses with their terrible One UI 7 update, with zero way to change it, I was forced to find and use this great app, and I put the widget on every screen on my phone. I really like that you can change the appearance on the screen, and wish I could mimic the same color, style, and size on my lock screen. Anyway, thanks for the great app!

I like it, but it doesn't work on my phone. It frequently freezes at random values that don't match the current battery level. Other reviews mention the same issue. It's not a battery optimization issue as I have specifically turned that off after reading other comments. I have a stock Samsung S24. As a test I'm running the stock Samsung app and it shows the correct value (64%) while this app froze at 71%. Hopefully the developer can find and fix the bug so I can change my review to 5 stars. Thanks for your feedback. If the app is not updating then there is most likely a problem with battery optimization features implemented in your phone. Please visit https://dontkillmyapp.com and update your phone settings. Also feel free to contact me if you have more questions.

Just the wiget I was looking for. The latest Android update on my Samsung phone may the battery indicator so tiny and dark that I could barely see it and did not pay attention to it. Consequently the day after I have graded my phone hit 3% battery life and shut down because I didn't notice that it needed charging. I installed this widget and put it on the top right hand corner of my home screen where I can clearly see it.

Like someone else said, it's easier to read the widget than the percentage on the phone's notification bar. Would love an option to cycle the different inner text options when clicking on the widget, instead of having to open the configuration settings to change it. Also, how to remove the notification icon and keep the notification panel for the lock screen? It's redundant to have that AND the widget displayed. Edited
