Almost a fantastic encrypted messaging app, sleek and simple. Until you realize: Many messages are not synced across devices, missing, unknown if sent or received. Apparently there are critical network and infrastructure problems, that need to be addressed quickly before people distrust and abandon Session. Will adjust review if messages become reliable. Reproduce: Use on Windows, attach videos or photos, check on Android, many are missing. Edited

At first, for the past year and a half, this app was really good. About 3 weeks to a month ago, this app started acting up. my messages don't get received when I send them. And I don't get all the messages sent to me. I've been told my friend, his not receiving my messages, and I'm telling him the same. I'm not receiving his messages either. This needs time to get fixed.

Everything was great until maybe almost two weeks ago. All of of sudden, it,session,stopped working. I'd have to close and go back,but it wouldn't restart right away. Kept shutting down. Once it got going it would go ok until I two or more chats going,then it would do it some more....stop running. Got frustrating. I'd clear my data,basically just start all over. Work very briefly then would stop running again. Just a few hours ago,I uninstalled the app, the installed it again,didn't help Edited

Literally everything is broken now...I don't know what's happened over the last couple of weeks, but the app is unusable. People that are showing up as members of groups cannot see the group. People that you remove from the group can still access it. Notifications for groups are non-existent and not working too well for individual messaging. Audio messages not sending, recipients can't load them if they do send. Honestly I think your app has been sabotaged. Apple and Android both affected.

I love this app! Lousy ratings for it? Come on! This app is the best security conscious communicator available. In. The. World. #2 is Signal. Signal requires a phone number. Session does not. Signal is centralized. Session is not. The app organization is good. The colors are good. The format is simple. I can even make calls. It syncs with my desktop. What more do you want for the most secure, the most private communicator? Free? Wait, it is free. Shout out to the developers!
