Absolutely amazing. The writing is excellent, the setting is a fascinating mix of superhero and cyberpunk, the characters have great development (especially the ones that didn't appear much in the last book), and the story and twists kept me engaged from start to finish. You have a LOT of different ways to build your character's goals and personality which obviously gives a lot of replay value. My one complaint is that some of the options only make sense if you want to be stupidly evil.

This is by far one of the best text rpgs ever made - the writing is phenomenal, your choices and stats really have a tangible effect on the main character and the story, all of the characters are great, I could rave about Fallen Hero for ages??? There are well over a million words (not exaggerating, look at the description) in this masterpiece due to the sheer number of branching options that you can take. I've been waiting for this game since the first one came out, and it did not disappoint.

This game gives me life. It's modern superhero at it's best in a way you can't get from cinema or comics, refreshing, well rounded, and emotionally devastating. It's all to easy to be invested and obsessed with the characters and plot to a degree I've personally never experienced before and I can't recommend it enough.

Sharply written, funny pretty consistently, with some knock-out conversations both for emotional and comedy purposes. Follows and builds on the last game wonderfully. I have spent many hours replaying the game with certain angles in mind, and there's a lot of value in chasing down some of the more nuanced reactivity. I heartily look forward to the sequel, even if I don't envy the author the things that need to be tracked and written to account for all the variables by the end of this one.

So glad to finally see a sequel to Fallen Hero. I played and replayed the first story multiple times, but with 3 years and no updates, plus the cliffhanger, I was about ready to give up. This part of the story filled in a lot of the blanks, but opened up a slew of new questions. I'm hoping the next game is the biggest yet and gives a resolution to the many plots happening in the background
