I love this game SO much, I've been playing and replaying it for years now. My only problems are that I've had a character get up to like 60 kills but I can never get the Zombie Killer trophies after 20 kills, & I've also noticed that there are several character deaths that will bug out and not register, which tends to make the actual storytelling part of the game get jumbled/buggy afterwards (like Jude dying at the grocery store but being at the museum still). Otherwise still a really fun game! Edited

Just 3 words. HOLY F*%&IN S#!T!!! I literally can't stop playing. So many different playthroughs. If it would not offer the many different paths like it does i would only give it a 3/5 strictly based on the fact you have to pay for each part individually. I wish i would have just purchased Safe Haven instead of paying for each part in the "presequal" ZE.

I enjoyed this one more than the original. The stats system is thorough & after playing with it, it does seem relevant. But the story is VERY linear and there are several false choices that reroute you. I feel guilty criticizing the multiple paywalls, as SO much work goes into these and authors well deserve compensation. But presenting an unfinished product with little variation/replay value deserves some finger-wagging. $8 for 30-45 mins is...a lot. I've not seen other games do this.

This story is definetly a work of art, and I love it to pieces. The only reason Im not rating it 5 stars is due to the lack of any form of saving implimented, especially in the third chapter. While I get it "could" add risk, it mostly makes things irritating when your deep in the story and you get sprayed with the virus (with zero warning to my knowledge) and have to start over a hefty length of the story. Otherwise, I wish I could give it a 5 that it deservers, but this issue is frustrating.

*edit 12/2018* So two years after my original review, this game is still not complete or significantly longer. As I and other reviewers have previously stated, the lack of significant content and multiple pay-walls means you should consider looking elsewhere. This game had a lot of potential, but sadly failed to like up to it. *Original review 2016* This was a lot of fun, but the game ends at the end of the first town/area. Way too short for the price. Good customization. Lots of path choices. The ending in city felt forced. Also... the game is too short. Demo length at best.
