They fixed the widget empty space issue! Awesome app. The data is great and it keeps out of your way, which is wonderful in a time when apps are trying to shove videos into everything. Edited

The app and its widget work extremely well and provide me with timely updates on local conditions. I was able to coax my widget into working again by re-enabling "Allow background usage" in the app's "App battery usage" setting, which was something I must have changed to get more life from my Pixel 8 battery. This app uses very little battery, and switching it back wasn't a problem at all—working perfectly! Thanks, Mesonet! Edited

The new update is horrible!!! Like most Oklahomans I love the mesonet and think we are so lucky to have a wonderful tool like this! However the new update has to load mini maps for every catagory which is unnecessary and takes longer to load. Once it does load you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to find the wind, which is the tool I, like many others, use the most!! If you can't change it back at least add a favorites tab, so you access the maps you use the most quickly Edited

Simple visuals, tidy home screen. No obtrusive ads or flashy irrelevant news articles. Four buttons at the bottom of the screen: 1) Current weather + two smaller panes for "tonight" and "tomorrow." 2) Maps Menu 3) Radar 4) Advisories Simple on the surface. The maps menu has a ton of in-depth data. I love the "no frills, quick in an emergency" features, combined with the option to look at the data professional meteorologists use.

This updated version of the app is very bad compared to the previous major versions. product selection is especially terrible, as it takes about 3 years of scrolling to find a single product you want. I don't understand who ever thought changing the menu format to the current one would be an improvement at all. Please revert back to past versions.
