Almost Perfect (for a niche use case) On Main/First page, make ring resizeable. On the set distance for notifications, add a numerical distance field to manually input a whole number like 5 or 3. I'm a Security Guard charged with closing the pool and opening it based on lightning. An elapsed time since strike within 5 miles function would be absolutely perfect, (30 minutes of no close strikes is my reopen target). My mental time-math is abhorrently lacking while herding cats at the pool.

Overall I really like this app. I work in construction and our safety policy for outdoor work requires a 30-minute safety stand-down after a lightning strike within 10 miles. The ability to set a time of day for notifications to begin and end is great, but being able to set days of the week would be very helpful. I only need the app on workdays. Not a big deal, just something I think about every time I use the app. Overall, a great app though.

Works well, easy to use. Great for hunting, camping, and outdoor activities. However, I use it regularly to check on approaching storms within a 30 mile radius. The location chosen, not at my residence, but to alert for storms coming from typical direction. (Don't care once they pass.) I use 30 miles because lightning can strike up to 25 miles away. Worth it to buy the "PRO" version. It pays the developer's for their hard work! 10/27/25 Inexpensive, but GREAT app. Buy them some coffee! Edited

This is a great app! I have been using the free version for about a year and the technology amazes me. Very accurate strike data! I would be interested on how the data is collected. As for the negative reviews, come on people. Bugs happen and most are phone related. And those entitled snowflakes who complain about spending 2 bucks on a man's hard work think nothing of spending $7 in Starbucks on a cup of coffee! I was happy using the free app but just bought this to support the author. Good job!!

I uninstalled the ad-supported version and went pro. I don't know yet if the pro version is any different, but it's worth a couple dollars to say "thanks". If you watch the weather, especially lightning, this app is truly excellent. It's very well thought out and superior to all other lightning presentations I've found so far. Thank you, dev!
