I love this app and use it a lot when I want to search fast and won't need to bookmark, or I use it to read articles because it gets rid of so many different types of ads in a no fuss, no muss kind of way. All I have to do to read an article in it is share it from whatever browser (or even app) it started out in and magically the site is readable, instead of being like cancer with ads metastasizing all over the place.

Latest version is broken, it is not clearing history and cookies. This used to work well, but it no longer does. For example, visit ebay, exit the app, clear history, open ebay again, you are immediately presented with whatever you were looking at. ☹️ update, restarted phone and ff is now clearing data as expected. leaving this in case others have the same issue. Pretty Good browser as far as I Tell, You're Not constantly swamped & Attacked with Ads & the Annoying Pop-ups that you can't get rid of, Only thing I would fix or change about it is, That when you set up personal preferences in settings, You have to keep resetting them every time you leave that page and come back to it, if you get forwarded out of the original search page ,and come back to it, You have to re-enter your settings password & click save & exit, EVERYTIME ! Other than that 👍

For android users, sometimes firefox erases everything when you background the app for x amount of time it's not consistent how long. I lose tabs thinking i can come back to it. 2nd when erasing the url to type a new search, the cursor is blinks on the search bar but doesn't actually type, have to close and reopen app. otherwise app works fine

Good: auto-dismiss cookie banners, easy to close everything, "Open in" button for when things are messed up. Bad: audio/video freezes up and won't play, but I can press "open in" to hand off to another browser and play audio and video. appears to be caused by an alarm going off when watching a YouTube video in FFF. requires clearing FFF cache or Android restart to fix. switching to DDG as default till fixed.
