Worst app in the world. Breaks down when you tab out, popout fails constantly, chat keeps disconnecting so no chatting, forces you to rewatch opening ads when you have to refresh the app cause it breaks. You can literally get an EXTREMELY better experience opening a stream in mobile browser and that's top-tier pathetic for a service with a dedicated app. You can't chat on mobile browser, but you can't chat with the app anyway with all the disconnecting.

Aquamarine

Finally updated the app after having been pestered about it for a while, expecting fixes to some bugs, the most annoying of which being Twitch replaying ads you've just seen after pausing and unpausing a stream to refresh it. Instead, I was greeted with an ugly, inconvenient TikTok-eqsue UI, with no notable bug fixes or improvements. Silly me for thinking updates are for improving apps instead of making them worse.

The app gets worse with every update. Chat fails to load half the time, the new feed has terrible stream suggestions that have nothing to do with my interests, and the "viewers (high to low)" filter doesn't even work in a category. I shudder to think what else they might break next update. Oh well, at least the overlay chat on a stream is nice.

the app is great. it keeps gamers connected, and they're able to connect with new ones. Some of the best content creators as well. I only gave it 4 instead of 5 because of how many times I've literally watched a "participating channel" for 30min to 2hrs past the required time and the drops don't get delivered to me or the counter/timer didn't even start. and I'd email support and only twice did it ever get fixed, rest of the time I get the same response... "you didn't meet the criteria"

Nocansee green

Burns my phone super bad when watching for a while, and often glitches into not being able to write in/see chat, especially when switching tabs or watching in picture-in-picture mode. Also, horrendous tech support/account retrieval, leading to me losing my first account and not being able to delete it. At least it runs decently smooth video/audiowise, and allows streaming with the screen off. The ads are less in-your-face than on youtube too, even though they are unskippable here.
