I've used Profesional NVH tools before and this is pretty close to that!! I am very impressed with the professionalism this app presents itself with as a legitimate testing tool. Couple things to suggest: could you add the option to add diameters of rotating components such as engine pulleys (alternator, ac, power steering) and same for driveshaft and halfshafts. I think that would make this an invaluable, affordable tool.

This really is a very clever app. By using the phones GPS speed and the cars gear ratios can even diagnose engine vibrations. The software report analysis is nicely done in that you can trial change settings and thus can be applied to previous recordings without having to repeat the run. So why not 5 stars ? Although I like the app it didn't help with my steering vibration,I eventually tracked down to a bush issue which although gave vibration it didn't correspond to a driveline vibration.

Hi Nick, thank you for the good review. You are correct, the app is designed to detect repetitive vibrations caused by rotating components. Although the app did not detect your vibration, it did show you that the vibration was not related to tire, driveshaft, or engine speed. That eliminates a lot of diagnostic work. Good job finding the bushing!

Purchased to diagnose a Volt, impossible. Likewise, a Chevy Bolt. How these are not listed vehicles I don't know, but it is impossible to enter them, because they don't have a transmission or CVT, Which the app requires to build a custom vehicle. I returned the app, useless for my EV's. EDIT: Changed to 5 stars for quick response! I will follow developer's comment and contact them for Volt setup! No one responds this fast, I am seriously impressed. Edited

Really a pretty sweet app to have in a diagnostic arsenal. Had an issue with a vibration in a customers cadillac between 21-26mph . This helped us key into the drive shaft being being the cause of this tough to narrow down vibration. Sure enough removed the drive shaft and found a seized u joint. Thank you to the apps creator for the help on this one . Worth every penny

Gives out different things, you can put the phone in different locations and pretty much all the car is bad. Getting a refund is very difficult. No support from their E-mail regarding the refund, very difficult to get your money back, if you want to try this app, beware you will not get a refund easily. Once I get my money back I will edit this review. Edited

It is normal to get different readings in different locations of the car. That is why the Tutorial shows placing the phone near the driver's seat so the phone can feel the vibrations you feel while driving.
