I'm new to racing and I'm using this to improve my autocross times. instead of just guessing about why one lap was faster than another I have all sorts of data about the exact lines I took, the amount of g force, the exact speeds, where I braked, etc. I'm really surprised how much I can get with the basic app. once I get a handle on everything the free version helps with I'll most likely upgrade not because the basic version is lacking, but because the paid version must have so much more!

Absolutely awesome app, easy to use and incredibly useful. I had an issue with a faulty dbw pedal on my ls swap and it would randomly start running rough and wouldn't drive. I just had to roll over to side of the road a couple times, clear the dtc's with bluetooth/my phone as i drive it to my garage to install another pedal i had. I was about to call a tow truck but remembered my hptuners was bluetooth and a code reader too. Now i need some GoPro cameras to link up and make some sick videos!

Can't use this app with my OBD2 BT scan tool, and it also won't connect the HP Tuners RTD device I have. I've used several monitoring apps over the last year with my scan tool without a problem. Was prepared to ditch them all and just use this app after I got the RTD, but after days of trying to connect, reset, turn off, forget, pair, and stuff around with endless combinations of the above, I have now given up.

Used to be great. Something changed in the past few years and the app will crash after logging for a minute at the most. Now just crushes before I even try to open it. Seems to be related to having Bluetooth GPS enabled in the settings. Crashes don't seem to happen on my spare iPhone, only on my Android. Issue happens on multiple Android phones I own so it's not one specific phone. Sucks because I bought a hazeGPS solely to use on track addict and it's android only.

This app looks better, is easier to use and better organized than Harry's lap timer. It's definitely the best free timer that I've tried. Your first time using that app it may not be obvious how the user interface works. It reminds me a bit of an iOS app in that way. Once you change a setting, you are already done and can just hit the back button on your phone. Edited
