I know dbms and interfaces. This app is only useful for very narrow applications and so, if you know what you're doing you could figure out a useful thing to do with it. But there are so many drawbacks I can think of only a few that wouldn't have better alternatives such as for contacts, driving log, expenses or sales. It's more of a list entry system. Google sheets would be better for most things.

The examples are there only to show what is possible. It's up to the user how they want to set it up for their particular application. The "Field samples" example where you can record your location and take photos is probably the best use which would be difficult to do with other apps.

This is the uncomplicated tool I've been looking for to collect digital GIS point data in the field. Typically, I record 3 or 4 variables at each waypoint. Up until now it's been difficult to do. A GPS only records the waypoint ID and timestamp. The mapping programs from the large GIS software vendors are rediculously cumbersome. The Custom Data Recorder sits in the Goldilocks zone.

Fabulous app. Only problem I seem to have is when I enter the date and time fields at the start of the form, when I hit done and am prompted with submit the date and time fields have erased. Not sure if it is me or not. Update. Using Samsung S8. I think it was because I shifted a field up the entry list once data had already been entered. I cloned it and all seems OK. Great app, just what I needed. Thx G Edited

Neat little database app. Two additional features (if they're not already there) would really make it sing and dance - search (in app, without exporting to spreadsheet) and a 'Lookup' field so you can link to other records and automatically pull data in.

Simple, easy to use form creator and data recorder. Great for entering and organizing nursing rounding notes! Dev is active with the community and was even able to implement a suggestion I made within a few days. Highly recommend Edited
