**Update** I'm genuinely impressed - I hated this app not too long ago and even switched to Spotify to escape it. However, major pros for the improvements and fixes that were clearly made: much smoother performance, less snagging and skipping during playback, and no issues downloading or adding music to my library. I'm back and I think I'll keep it this time. Edited

I use this app every day! Can't function without it most days. Lol However, I only gave 4 starts because lately the app hasn't been working properly. I have to force stop it every time I open it or nothing will play. In addition to this, the photos for my playlists aren't displaying and whenever I exit the app to use a different one while listening to music it closes my playlist and goes to the search page. I thought this last update would have fixed all of that, but it hasn't.

I hadn't used my apple account in years, but I had a whole library of songs that I BOUGHT years ago. So I get the app, now I have to pay a monthly fee for the music. So whatever, I get a month of free trial. I changed my email, and then I was notified that I was locked out permanently and my music library would be deleted for "violating terms and conditions." However, they won't tell me which term/condition. I just changed my email and activated the free trial. Paid digital content is a scam!

They broke the playlists over a year ago when they removed the custom covers and replaced them with generic, cheap, indistinguishable covers and. still haven't fixed it, or better yet, added the option for people to choose how their playlist covers are customized. It's 2025, these options for a streaming service this expensive should be common knowledge. Edited

absolutely love apple(tang) music. I make my own Playlist i do not have to worry about algorithms throwing it off. I my only complaint is during the last update the sound is completely off I tried fixing it in the app and it just sounds muffled no matter what i do, my satellite radio sounds better and before it was the opposite so hopefully it is fixed next update !!! 😁
